What, no mention of the Urey-Miller experiment which conclusively demonstrated that organic compounds could spontaneously arise from a warm mix of certain simple chemicals sparked by electricity?

While Urey-Miller is important, newer experiments have found that RNA forms even easier than that.

No electricity needed, starting with even simpler chemicals than U-M started with; just a "drying out" phase made all the difference.
