Ayla tamed the first mare, then her mare mated with a wild stallion so she could have a tame stallion. Then I am sure things blossomedfrom there. When Ayla migrated to western France there were other wild stallions available in the area for her mare to mate with. I am sure they were able to find a baby filly for her mares son to mate with.
