I saw no mention of the exothermic additions of deep ocean vents.

What else did they miss? No doubt it is an improvement in the approximation but they loose me everytime when they try to sell this hooya as empirical evidence / the last word. There is so much we DO NOT KNOW. It is the best GUESS they have based on the information they have at the time. No more. Never will be.

    The oceans are so massive and their probes didn't go very deep compared to the deepest oceans, that I don't think they should be able to draw any conclusions.
